The Full Story

About

Italian‑born singer Daniele Alan‑Carter began performing at 14, debuting as Romeo in Riccardo Cocciante’s “Giulietta e Romeo” at the Arena di Verona before leading Stage Entertainment France’s “Le Bal des Vampires” in Paris and touring internationally with The 12 Tenors. He connects with Italian and European repertoire, reimagining heritage songs through contemporary, cinematic orchestral arrangements and a vocal palette that blends dramatic tenor and countertenor colours, drawn to a sound that bridges bel canto tradition, baroque flair, and modern production. He also founded The Artist Circle as an artist‑led initiative to foster clarity, growth, and shared opportunity: rebuilding a sense of community and union in a field that can feel isolated while keeping his focus on creating and performing.

Early Life

Raised in Mantua (Mantova), northern Italy, Daniele’s connection to music started early: first at the piano, then through singing, dance, and acting classes in local schools.

An early encounter with Puccini’s “Madama Butterfly” set the course: voice and theatre would be his language.

While completing a humanities and classical literature diploma, he booked his first professional role at 14 as one of the Romeos in Cocciante’s pop opera at the Arena di Verona: an experience that led to further national productions.

After high school, he studied acting at the National Academy of Dramatic Arts “Silvio D’Amico” in Rome, continuing vocal training in parallel.

He then moved to Paris to lead “Le Bal des Vampires” at the Mogador Theatre (directed by Roman Polanski), then relocated to London, working in international productions like "The 12 Tenors" and surpassing 1,000 live performances across Europe and Asia.

These chapters formed the backbone of his stage craft: musicality shaped by opera and cinema, and a performance ethic built in front of diverse audiences.

Now

In recent years, Daniele’s focus has shifted toward creating from a more personal place. Since his first release in 2020, he has explored a sound that blends Opera, Soul, R&B, Pop, and Electronic influences: a fusion that reflects both his classical roots and modern sensibilities. His current work moves between two worlds: reimagining Italian and European heritage songs, and crafting cinematic, symphonic interpretations of contemporary and timeless pop music.

Through these projects, he uses his full vocal range: from dramatic tenor to countertenor, to bring the emotion and colour of classical music into today’s sound.

Beyond the studio, Daniele has built a growing community online. His orchestral and classical-inspired covers have resonated with audiences worldwide, connecting over 100,000 followers and millions of listeners who share his love for this blend of old and new. Among his most meaningful moments was performing “Now We Are Free” on the Italian Capitoline Hill with the Colosseum as a backdrop:  a reminder of music’s power to create beauty and shared emotion.

Day to day, Daniele works on arranging, recording, and designing performances that feel cinematic yet deeply human: detailed, emotional, and rooted in storytelling.

His goal remains simple: to make the familiar feel new, and to create moments that connect people through sound.

Alongside his artistic work, he leads The Artist Circle, an initiative supporting artists and anyone interested in developing their voice and creative identity.
The project reflects his belief that art grows best in community, where inspiration, clarity, and support can truly thrive.
