STYLE SHIFT: Legit/Classical is the counterpart to our May Pop class. In this session, we’ll explore what makes a voice sound classical and how to shift your style from contemporary to legit.
We’ll work on a short, accessible section of “Caro mio ben”:
“Caro mio ben, credimi almen, senza di te, languisce il core”
Using the shadowing technique, you’ll:
Listen closely to classical phrasing, vowel shaping and resonance
Imitate classical choices note by note
